I was raised in a conservative household, so recycling, reducing and reusing is something that I have done my entire life. I like to have the windows open and fans going most of the time. Since I live in the Hill Country, there is usually always a nice breeze blowing. If I do have the air conditioner running, I always put the temperature up while I am not there, so that the air isn't running when no one is home to enjoy it. I also reuse my grocery bags. I use them in my smaller trash cans around the house, as well as using them in my truck for trash bags. I also keep many water bottles around my house to reuse, instead of buying bottles of water that just end up getting thrown away.
